Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to develop a system, website, or application?

There isn't a single price because every project is different, and we prefer to be honest with you from the start. The cost depends on your needs: the features, the complexity, the materials or documentation you have, and the most suitable technologies for your situation. What I can tell you is that by working primarily with open-source tools, we eliminate licensing costs and minimize surprises along the way. We always conduct an initial assessment to present you with a clear proposal, without fine print, tailored to your specific needs.

How long does it take to develop my project?

It largely depends on the type of solution, whether it's an integration or an adaptation, and whether information and documentation are already available. But to give you a general idea:
  • Website: Less than 30 days.
  • Web system or platform: 3 months
  • Complex projects: More than 3 months
Therefore, before starting, we collaboratively define a timeline with deliverables in stages, so that you always know exactly where your project is and what's next. You can also evaluate it at any time through our platform.

I don't have technical knowledge, can I still develop my idea?

Absolutely. In fact, many of the people we've worked with don't have a technical background, and that's perfectly fine. With over 25 years of experience developing web solutions, we listen to an idea, offer our input, and help turn it into something functional, without overwhelming you with technical jargon. We provide support from the initial sketch to launch, explaining every decision clearly.

What do I need to get started?

All you need is an idea or a problem you want to solve. Together we'll help you shape it: defining the functions you need, the available materials, how to structure it, and the most suitable technology. You don't need to arrive with everything 100% figured out, but you do need to know what you're looking for or the direction your requirements take.

Can I start with something small and grow it later?

Of course. In fact, I think it's the most recommended approach, as it allows you to see the progress and determine if you're on the right track. We can start with a functional version of your idea called an MVP so you can validate it with real users and with a smaller investment. Then, the system grows as your business grows. In fact, many of our clients have been working with me for over 10 years precisely because their systems continue to evolve with them.

Will my website or web system work well on mobile phones and tablets?

Yes, always. All the solutions we develop are designed using a mobile-first responsive design approach, which allows them to function correctly on any device: mobile phone, tablet, or computer. A good user experience isn't an extra; it's part of the job from the very beginning.

If I want an app for Android and iPhone, is it very expensive?

Yes, it's done in the traditional way. What we do to develop applications for Android and iOS is create a cross-platform version of a system that works on both systems, and then embed it in a higher-level system that allows it to run on Android or iPhone, which reduces costs and development time. The choice depends on your needs and budget; in our case, we help you decide which makes the most sense for your project.

Will I be able to manage my own site or system?

Whenever possible and necessary, we build systems that you can manage yourself: updating content, adding products, modifying information, without needing to call us every time. The idea is for you to have real independence over your tool, not to depend on me for day-to-day tasks; but if your content isn't actually going to change over time, there's no point in creating an administrative system that will cost you more and lengthen development time, since you won't actually use it.

What happens if I need changes or new features later?

Software always needs to evolve, and I fully understand that your business changes over time. You can contact us anytime to add features, adjust something, or take your platform to the next level. My working relationships are long-term by nature, not because of a contract, but because when something works well, people come back.

Does the system they develop belong to me?

Yes. What's built for your project is yours, and that's precisely the advantage of using open-source technologies. You have access to the code without being tied to proprietary platforms, precisely so you have complete control over your solution, now and in the future.

Do you offer support after the project is completed?

Sure. I can offer you support and maintenance plans that include updates, upgrades, and technical assistance whenever you need it. And if you prefer to just contact me when something comes up, that works too. The relationship adapts to how you work.

Can you connect my system with other platforms or tools?

Yes. It's possible to integrate it with payment gateways, ERPs, CRMs, online stores, external APIs, and many other services, as long as we have access to the relevant documentation. If there's a technical way to connect it, we'll find it.

Do you work with entrepreneurs or small businesses?

This is precisely the profile we most enjoy working with. Many of our projects started as an idea on a napkin and have become real tools that transform their owners' daily lives. You don't need to be a large company to deserve well-made technology.

I have an idea but I don't know if it's viable, can we evaluate it?

Of course. We can sit down—even virtually—and review your idea together: we'll analyze whether it's technically feasible, what developing it would entail, and what the best way to get started would be with the least possible risk. Sometimes the greatest value lies in that initial conversation, before writing a single line of code.
